The D.O.L.L.A Squad Week 16 Match-Up vs. Asada Mao Fanclub

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball H2H 9 Cat 12 Team League

At this rate, I'm gonna run out of Franz GIFs and start using Mo as well.

Week 16 Final Score: 7:2

Me .481 .743 62 504 134 110 30 19 44 38
FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO GP
Opponent .486 .848 50 490 129 99 25 15 45 33

Another match-up against a team that isn't being managed by the score of 7:2.
Not gonna complain, but I should have taken at least one more point of the team, in FT%.
My team's FT% is really on a slump, was my best category but as far as I remember, I've lost 3 out the last 4 weeks.
Having said that, a win is a win and very glad I was able to do that with minimal management of the team over the week.

Team's Win-Loss Stat on each Categories

FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO
4-12-0 12-4-0 12-4-0 8-8-0 6-10-0 7-9-0 11-4-1 7-9-0 8-8-0

Still in 8th place, what a shocker.
3PTM has caught up in win percentage to FT%, with ST really close behind. My core 3 winning categories.
FG%, REB guarantee losses, leaving PTS, AST, BLK, and TO as total crapshoot.
This leaves me vulnerable to lose 6:3 at any given week. I need at least one more surefire category.
League Standing: 8th, 16.5 games behind 1st, 6.5 games behind 4th.

Notable Players:
- Franz Wagner: No discredit to Franz, but what a shamble of a performance from the team overall, and still pull out a demanding 7:2 victory. The only player in the week to get a triple double with more than 30 PTS. Over a WEEK! Props to Franz, leading on with superb output. B+
- Kelly Oubre Jr.:
Perhaps the fact that Embiid is injured until the end of the season will get Oubre more opportunities to produce. Sad news for the NBA in general, but good news for me and my team going forwards. Oubre has always been up and down but this might mitigate the down to a certain level. A

Underwhelming Players:
- PG13: Gafford (in the midst of being traded) and Lillard(low number of games) gets a pass but DAMN! PG13 output falling harder than a feather in vacuum. Even with 2 games over the week, this would result in 12 PTS and 5 AST per game with performances like this! Is he like, taking it easy until the All-Star break or what??? PG, Please!!!! F

Albas:

- Norman Powell: When I said minimal management, I meant minimal management. Not a single rotation player from the waiver wire. But in promoting Nesmith to the permanent roster, Powell drew the short end of the stick to be tossed from the team. Its been a long journey with him on the team but I believe that the Pacers will have more to give at the end of the season as well as the Clippers being so top heavy and Powell having reduced role.

Trade Alert:
- 'Austin Reaves + Myles Turner' for 'Aaron Gordon + Zach Collins': Needed a switch-up (again) with Turner's output seeming to 'deteriorate' over the past week (although not pointed out in the Underwhelming Players) and Lakers possibly pulling the plug on the season with their poor showing with half of the season already gone. A versatile and robust big wing Gordon will provide value when the stars for the Nuggets get some rest while Collins might show value when Wemby gets shut down. I mean, I can only hope it happens as I imagine~

Final Thoughts:
- Love Trade Watch (Week 2): Love is just coming back from injury so not expecting much for now but expect his performance to increase as time goes. This week, not so bad. B
- Collins + Gordon Trade Watch (Week 1):
So far, not bad. Hoping that their output gets better after the rest from the All-Star weekend. Hopefully better than how Love was performing anyway.
- With Week 21 being the last week of the seaon before the playoffs, I am indeed running out the time to close the gap and catch up to the 4 top and get into the playoffs. I've already missed out in the playoffs last year (which was the first time) and motivation is really hard to come by in a losing year, even with financial incentives in place.
