The D.O.L.L.A Squad Week 14 Match-Up vs. Scoot on my Henderson

Baby Fist Bump!

Week 14 Final Score: 8:1

Me .503 .826 77 727 205 145 46 29 76 50
FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO GP
Opponent .486 .804 50 514 184 126 36 17 43 48

A nice break from fierce competitive environment. The manager of the opponent isn't playing for whatever reason.
So, this week was an easy victory. But then again, it is an easy victory for any other managers in the league.
Thank goodness I was able to pull out victories on non-counting stats too as those could be unlucky losses for me.
Overall, a nice week to relax and hopefully and bouncing off point on the way to the top of the standing.

Something does not add up in my head. I'm winning in 3PTM in most occasions PTS should follow along with the 3PTM.
But my PTS is barely .500 after this week. So that means that my 2-point baskets are really lacking.
I know that my big men are terrible but this is too much. I always had a recurring doubt that I lost this league the moment the draft finished, with my lackluster big men picks.
Hopefully that is not the case, but the results are proving me otherwise.
League Standing: 8th

Notable Players:
- Devin Booker: And I thought he could not perform at a higher level, he does it again!! DBook with 15 3PTM and almost 170 PTS at ultimate efficiency! It is as if he is a 1st round pick! It is kinda bittersweet that this level of performance is wasted on a easy opponent. As amazed and happy I am with the performance, this is a similar trend to PG13 which I will get to shortly. Hopefully history does not repeat itself. A+
- Dame Lillard:
It has been a while since Logo Lillard had been given some attention in the blog. A little better in the FG% would have been nice but no complaints, especially this week. Still, voted as an All-Star starter for the east and hopefully, I will see Lillard's name more often on the Notable players of the week. A

Underwhelming Players:
- PG13:  A back-to-back stinker from PG13. Don't get me wrong, it is a good stat line, but not for someone of PG13's level! I have a feeling Harden's trade might have something to do with it. Back-to-back Notable player of the week to back-to-back underwhelming player of the week. I hope the All-Star break will get him some rest and back to form. D-

Albas:

- Aaron Nesmith: Fairly decent output from a waiver player. Although, I don't know how someone who can shoot the 3PTM well has that low FT%. I'll consider it low sample size. But he does have potential to make a permament roster spot with Bruce Brown being traded away. B+

- Mo Wagner: Yo, maybe he is the big men that I need to bolster my big men roster on the team. The Wagner Bruders. I'll see how he performs for a little more before making that decision. B+
- Kyle Anderson: A leftover from last week's waiver pick-up but not bad at all! I did not know that Anderson had the AST in him. A lot of good waiver players and potential permanent roster members this week. Why is my waiver game on point when it did not matter as much...... Damn. B
- N. Alexander-Walker: For one game, the 3PTM and PTS are amazing. This was due to Conley being out but still, good pick-up all over the place. B
- Malik Beasley:
Standard waiver pick-up when I want 3PTM and PTS, and he delivered. A Solid B

Trade Alert:
- Jalen Green for Kevin Love:
My desire to obtain a good shooting big man had gotten me to trade for Kevin Love. It was a sell-low trade with Green. But I could not stand his inefficient game with PTS in the 10s. Hopefully KLove shows the form that he displayed before the injury and help me get into the play-off berth.

Final Thoughts:

- Trade was the only option I had to shake up the team, for better or worse. The larger scale trade is really hard to do because (it seems to be that) everybody overvalues their own players and undervalues the opposition's players.
- Like said above, hope that this BIG win is a new starting point where my team can flourish and pick up wins en route to the play-offs and finally win the fantasy league.
