SK Week 6 Match-Up: Olympic Benchwaremers vs. David Stern's Very Own

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball H2H 9-Cat 12 Team League

Week 6 Final Score: 4 - 5

Olympic Benchwarmers .491 .821 89 707 241 149 49 33 74
FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO
David Stern's Very Own .454 .894 90 668 243 173 46 19 63

An agonizing loss against the bottom team of the league! Lost the 3PTM by 1! Cannot be more of a sore loser about that. Not to mention, the REB was 3 off as well, which could have made this week turn out a lot differerent. Very bitter about this week in general! Used up all of my waiver spots and still misfired on the states that I needed to take the W. Absolutely gotta do better. This is unacceptable.

First loss in the 3PTM column. Starting to take shape that the 3PTM, PTS, and BLK are to be the building blocks of the team moving forward. And perhaps adjust the team to pivot towards the opposition's weaknesses. Still very upsetting when you lose such a close game.

Notable Players:

- Jaren Jackson Jr: A-.A really solid performance from JJJ. I think the absence of Morant propelled JJJ to up his scoring and involvement in the game in general. I would like the team to hover around the middle of the playoff picture so that the players will not get DNPs at the end of the season for resting purposes.
- Jayson Tatum: B+.
Not his absolute best performance but still very good. I think this level of output is what I would expect from him moving forward. Could honestly do better with his FT% I would think. Not sure what is going on there.

Oopsies of the Week
- Jalen Suggs: C. Not that he has fallen off but his performance has not been what it used to be. I thought no Banchero meant more opportunities but maybe Banchero was what propelled Suggs to perform so well. Sharpe gets a pass since he is still returning from injury.

Albas
- Goga Bitadze: B+.
A solid B. Gave me a double-double and good amount of defensive stats in limited games. Was not able to utilize him for 1 game because of a late clear to play call, which I was not able to put him in the roster. Sucks to suck but going to keep him for a while as my big man situation is not the best at the moment.
- Cody Martin: B-. Did not expect much from him. Moreso to fill up the games played and I believe he played above his average. Would use again.
- Lu Dort: B+. Is and always has been a solid waiver pickup for years now. Never seem to take that next level jump to a permanent roster but a familiar face every season with dependable skillset.
- Ayo Dosunmu: D. Tried him out for the number of games that he would play but honestly, it is just meh~
- Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: A. A recurring waiver player this season with my weakened center position. With Zion out and not a proper starting caliber center on the Pelican's roster, JRE seems to be getting opportunities and producing at the level he is capable of.

Final Thought of the Week
- Surprisingly, have tossed Hunter and Sharpe to be the waiver roster spots on the team. Sharpe seemed to be just a scorer and Hunter seemed to be constanly out due to certain type of recurring injuries. Hopefully I made the right choice in deciding to keep Mathurin and Wiggins for the future of the team. The chopping block will begin again once Chet comes back as well.
- The next week has the In-Season Tournament, making it 2 weeks long. It will be a long battle against the opponent and I will look to bounce back from this unfortunate loss.
