SK Week 7 Match-Up: Olympic Benchwaremers vs. Kunhyo's Outstanding Team

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball H2H 9-Cat 12 Team League|

Week 7 Final Score: 7 - 2

Olympic Benchwarmers .466 .801 113 1074 437 224 93 58 127
FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO
Kunhyo's Outstanding Team .465 .793 141 1078 340 209 65 47 130

First victory of the season better than a 5-4 scoreline! Finally!!! And this was an even closer battle to the end than last week! Won the FG% by 0.001, won the TOs by 3, and lost PTS by 4. The PTS loss is a real shame. The scoreline could have been much more impressive! But nevertheless, a nailbiting end with ladyluck smiling upon my team!

Team’s Win-Loss Stat on each Categories

FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO
4-3-0 3-4-0 5-2-0 4-3-0 2-5-0 2-4-1 4-2-1 5-2-0 4-3-0

Another loss in the 3PTM column, making it 2 in a row. Not a good sign but cannot complain when the team wins 7-2. This is what happens when you win both of the efficiency categories. As much as luck played a part, hopefully FG% and REB will get reinforced by the trade that occured this week as well as the many bigmen waiver pickups.

Team's Position on the League Table

Finally broke into the playoff position in 5th place. The main goal is to get into top 2 to get a bye in the first round so that I can use the advantage to prepare for the next round with the bye week. 2 games behind 4th place and 1.5 games ahead of 6th place. I need to carry on the momentum of this week and continue to climb the table.

Notable Players:

- Jalen Suggs: A+. Definitely did not expect this type of performance from him this season. Used him sparingly last year, where he did have some minutes as well as impressive defensive stats for almost a waiver player. But with the team on the rise on the backs of Banchero and Wagner, he seemed to have solidified the guard spot for himself and pushing himself to be the next member for a potential Big3 in Orlando.
- Jaren Jackson Jr.: A-.
2 weeks in a row for JJJ. Very VERY nice, with Morant seeming to take on a more playmaker role, delegating the scoring as a committee but most dependent on JJJ. Memphis is doing very well and hope his defensive number takes another leap.

Oopsies of the Week
- Naz Reid: C. He seems to be regressing as the team is not performing up to standards compared to last year. Really thought he would have much more opportunity in the center spot with KAT gone. But something is wrong with the team and am even considering tossing him in the waiver wire.

Albas
- Cason Wallace: D-.
I don't know if there is a F+ or E. Probably not going to use again.
- Brandon Boston Jr.: B+. Thought he was in the Clippers but must have moved. Feek like a poor man's version of Brandon Ingram and definitely worth picking up whenever BI is out..
- Brandon Clarke: B+. Thought BC would be a better player after his impressive rookie season but seems to be a bench role. Would use again
- Lu Dort: C-. Was just a leftover from last week.
- Gary Trent Jr.: B. A throw in for the Adebayo trade but performed very nice!
- Precious Achiuwa: C+. Returning from injuries, probably did not get a lot of minutes but I think he is worth keeping an eye on for high per-36 value player like the Timelord.

Final Thought of the Week
- Great win! Hope that this is a sign of more good things to come for the team as we try to get to that top 2 spot for the bye in the first round.
